Changes to consider
Front headrest don't tilt anymore
Rear headrest don't lay flat
Ambient lighting doesn't change colors.
Ipod no longer compatible
No chrome mirror cap with chrome package.
No chrome exhaust tip on exhaust.
No numbers on digital tach or speedometer. Just digital readout.
Led bulbs in rear taillight assembly are now halogen.
No longer have touch sensors on all door handles.

Among other things, I find it really weird they’d revert back to halogen bulbs in the tail lights.

Just one more reason I’m still loving my 5G!

I have a Ranger Lariat with the 10th digit in the VIN "S" which is supposed to designate the 2025 model year. From all information I have been able to find, a model year 2025 Ranger Lariat is a G5 not G6.

The 5G Ragner was from 2019 - 2023

There is no 2025 Ranger that's a 5G

Curious, if you (or anyone one who happens to still use an Ipod lol) have ever had your Ipod play something different in your 5G, then that from what you selected, ever?

Example, in my case I feel like listening to Godsmack, randomly it'll throw a Cinderella song in the mix. Or I select Skid Row and Shinedown plays . It only happens when I want to try and listen to something specific. No a big deal as I usually have it on a random mix. More curious really. Not sure if it's an Ipod thing or Ford thing lol.

Delete the ipod from the truck and try installing it again.

Have you tried it in another vehicle to see if it does the same there?

I have a pretty wide range of genre on my ipod, but no JB . No country either lol.

Never did that in my GTI, I could try it in my R32 to check, but not too worried about it lol.

Well Google was no help, or youtube lol. Everything I have found is for removing devices paired through bluetooth. My Ipod is connected via the USB port. Yes I unplugged it and plugged it back in lol. Not the end of the world I guess.
