One day at a time. Learn something new every day. I tell my son that all the time. He’s is management at the nuke I retired from and he doesn’t give himself credit for how much he knows already. He told me I don’t know as much as the guy I’m replacing. Well, that guy was there over 30 years and do you think he knew everything the very first day he was there? I think not. Someone told me he will be as good as his dad one day. I said no, he’s already better than his old man ever was. So take your time, learn every day, and enjoy the work.We all need a hand at some point. Never be ashamed of listening when the chronologically advanced offer advice from their experiences. Even the youngins can teach us long-in-the-tooth guys something! I started that new part time retirement job at the gun store today. Holy crap! I haven't had to start at the beginning in over thirty years!!The owner's son who is likely younger than my daughter was training me on procedures and the computerized tills. I don't know what's tougher, this or hostile teenagers in the classroom! A lot to remember. In time! Point being I'm going to have to rely on the other employees for a bit until I have it down.
Oh no, I like my Ranger too much and my new truck buying days are pretty well past. Although I would drive that thing everywhere. This is my last big truck adventure that I bought in 1999 and sold in 2019. I pulled antique tractors for a few years.Wicked cool!!

That’s just about what it took to smooth out that ride. I sent it out to Scheid Diesel in Indiana and she came back with 460 HP and just under 1000 ft/lbs of torque. It surprised quite a few people at red lights.Smooth plush ride , though!!
But “SMASHES THE RECORD” sounds way more violent that “broke the record by one degree”….. Theatrics……Looks like Miami did break their long standing 117 year old record. Gotta love how the weather exaggerators have to glorify it by saying "Smashes its old 117 year old record". It broke it by 1 degree. lol
