RealTruck here! Found this in your gloveboxā€¦šŸ‘€

ā€œNew year, fresh calendar… same owner who keeps walking past me in the driveway like I don’t have feelings.
Since we’re rolling into 2026, I figured I’d speak up. I’ve got a few New Year’s resolutions, and honestly, I’ve been trying to tell you these things for a while.
First off, what’s my resolution? I’d really like to get out a bit more. A trip to the beach, the mountains, the trails, or honestly just putting some more miles on the odometer would be nice.

Second, remember that project you said you’d ā€œget to soonā€? Yeah… I’m still waiting. 2026 feels like a good year to finally stop putting it off.
And lastly, I could really use a lifestyle change. More trails, more work, more road trips, more time outside. I wasn’t built to just sit here.

Sincerely,
Your Rangerā€

I actually found a similar note in my own glovebox 🧐, and apparently my truck’s big goal for 2026 is finally getting a 3.5" lift kit installed and upgrading the wheels and tires. It’s been on the list long enough.

Curious what everyone else’s trucks are asking for this year?

Drop a reply and tell us what your truck is hoping for in 2026.

Wire winch 0ga quick connects to front and rear recievers install amp, lube slip yoke, change oil. tomorrow I'll start with an oil change and see where it goes from there.

2025 was the big one for checking off a long-time resolution with getting the Elevate Rack:

This year will be much less exciting, but arguably more important from a safety stand-point: new summer tires. The current set are balding from the inside edge from taking mountain curves.

The elevate was an awesome addition there! Sometimes tires aren't as exciting but are one of the most important upgrades you can do. :sunglasses:

That is an awesome plan you have going! Also worth noting, this happens to be your 1000th forum response which is pretty sweet!

Emptying one pile, starting another and planning the pile after that is exactly as it should be done

Maintain, drive, and enjoy. 149,000 and runs as good as new.

Thank you. It has had every single service Ford recommends and goes in every 5000 miles for whatever it needs. Just had a new rear drive shaft installed to replace the noisy center bearing. That’s the first ā€œbroke fixā€ work since I bought it with 7 miles on it.
