Michelin's are great, and those would suit your various environmental conditions really well.

The GT Radial's could be a good choice if you were exclusively in the mountains, but you don't need studded tires in the UK, or even on your way to the Alps. You'll end up wearing through them quicker, and considering the damage that studded tires can do to roads, you might even be in violation of some local laws.

I'm not familiar with Ziarelli, so can't say anything about them either way.

I put Cooper Discoverer Road and Trail AT on mine. They are 3 Peak rated and have had great success with them. I really like them. Not dedicated snow tires, but work well.

I got a set of Blizzak DM-V2 for the ski season for the first time ever for this year. Got them 10% off at Firestone, so like $230/tire over the Firestone winter tires at around $200. They were well reviewed on Youtube by TFL Truck against the three-peak AT tires, which is what I have ran for like the last 10 years on the Ranger and the thing that came before it. The 3-peak AT tires (KO2, grabber ATX) are generally very good in snow, marginal on ice, but what I have found is they are AWFUL if the tread is worn past 50% wear. So I want more assurance for icy mountain passes each year.

Generally speaking snow tires kick 3 Peak Rated ATs any day in winter conditions. That said I found the Destination XT to be well above the KO2 and ATX with no questions. Even the KO2 is far superior to the ATx(in reality the ATx is just a knockoff anyway)

I'm with you on that vote. Michelin is an excellent choice

I had BFG KO2's on my 2022 since the truck was new & it was excellent in rain, also snow on paved roads. In deep snow/off-road situations it's a hit & miss at best I feel. I've gotten in trouble, getting stuck in the woods countless times(gotten pretty good at off-road recovery though lol).

KO2's were discontinued, so I was forced to go with the KO3's this time around & I'm looking forward to testing them in the snow. Both KO2 & 3's were three peak rated. *Hardly scientific, but traction feels better in rain with the KO3(I think I got late September).
