Who knows cut off point date? between the 315 hz & 433 hz TPMs sensors.
From what I see the new higher number ones won’t work with older rangers needing 315 hz.
A scan tool or visual inspection is necessary tell?
I’m afraid some 24 and up Bronco takeoff, with newer dot dates I’m looking at won’t work on my 2020 Ford Ranger XL
without changing them?

"Old School" TPMS.....always works, no batteries needed, only 2 minutes of your time.....

From what I can see all 5G Rangers are 315. Bronco's appear to be the same up to 2024 but I think something aside form the MHZ has changed in 2025.

You see here is a TPMS kit for a 25 only Bronco https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-1180-D
When you zoom in to look at the TPMS info it states 315mhz which is puzzling.

Thanks for responses so far. I bought two 255/70R/16 from tire rack before I realized facebook market place was flooded with Bronco takeoff’s . Some people are even selling them with bead broken on one side to take out there TPMS’s. The issue I don’t need right them now and later newer dated DOT ones probably have the other hz TPMS, so the replacing them with affordable aftermarket ones with new batteries will be my other option when time comes.

I think FP may be reusing some photos of the 315 for the 433 sensors. I would steer clear of 2025 models, Anything other should be fine.
