I want to upgrade my 4in infotainment system

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to revive this topic. I have a 2019 XLT 301a package (with the 4in screen). I've been running into the issue of the screen and entertainment system freezing a lot more lately. Tbh, I always wanted the bigger screen anyways and REALLY wanted Android Auto. Are they're any affordable recommendations for upgrading the infotainment system? My biggest wants are: 8in or more for screen size, Android Auto, and maintaining steering wheel controls.

I believe the Gen6 version (the one I believe will still retain all oem functionality.) ranges from like 1350-2k depending on how you shop around you might find it cheaper… for reference the 8” sync system for our trucks is like 1300 brand new…I think… eBay might have it for cheap but used
