Does anyone know if Ford's Bluecruise is coming to the 2026 Ranger?

They have them here in PHX. Waymo is the company, I think. They use Jaguars for their livery.

I don’t know when, but it’s just a matter of time before blue cruise is available throughout the entire ford line. I would guess before the end of the decade. Understandable why it doesn’t interest everyone. Right now ford gives a 90 day trial and then you have to pay a subscription to use it. I couldn’t see paying for it on a regular basis, but would be nice when going on long road trips to take it out for a month.

What happens when/if your vehicle goes rogue ??? What if it decides to pull a Thelma and Louise or a Skynet on you because you didn't wash it enough, or used regular instead of premium ??? What happens if you disparage it for some reason and it decides to run into a wall at 70 mph ???
Lost of things to worry about here !!!

Some of what you listed is a concern, but not enough to make me paranoid about it. Each year there will be more and more vehicles on the road using this technology.

Even if someone were to never get a vehicle that has this technology, they will still be exposed to it. Risking potential accidents from other drivers using it.

Honestly there is enough nut jobs on the road to begin with, that there is always some risk or possibility of something bad happening.

I personally wouldn’t use it to go through a major downtown area or in a construction zone, but out in the country with very little traffic and in good weather conditions it definitely could be utilized.
