I really want to get some power seats for at least the driver side. I know on older models of vehichles the cable would be hidden under neat the carpet or somewhere near by. I dont know if it is there as I haven't bothered checking yet (the idea to swap seats just came to me), but if it isnt how hard would it be to swap them out. Would I need forscan for this or is it just plug and play?

it needs some wiring to get power to it either by the fuse panel or if you have the higher end dash harness for duel climate control you could try hooking into the side harness.

As long as you (NOTE) that this is a 30-Amp Fused circuit and 14-Gauge wire to feed the connector.
So, if adding your own power via battery or fuse box tap from a not used source - ensure you have an inline fuse and 14-Gauge wire, with this being a high amp usage item, it needs its own circuit.

If the (Truck) harness side has the needed wiring, its easy and just need a Power Seat if not you will have to run your own to the connector.

There are (4) Total connectors in the circuit
For the trims with manual seats, IDK what wiring they have in the harness, is is present or missing?
and if missing - at what point in the circuit is it terminated?
For Ref: C327 is the main connector under the seat

and C1147 is here
Note: C1147 is limited access and can barely see it

So, I have a hunch that C1147 Pin #23 will be the termination point and not extend out to C327, a quick way to see would be check the C1035A connector and check if Pin #54 has a wire in the cavity - if yes then C1147 has the needed wire feed to extend downstream to the C327 connector.
Another indicator would be - check the bottom side of the BJB (is Fuse #74) present or empty cavity?
Note: Fuse #74 = Driver's Seat & Fuse #70 = Passenger Seat

As I said, at this point IDK how Ford has the circuit wired for the varied trim options.

my truck has all the fuses mentioned last time i was looking at it to include the heated seat fuse as well. i don't know however exactly the connectors ci do have but ill look at them hopefully tomorrow. atm i just tapped into an open fuse but haven't gotten around to properly wire both the driver and passenger to their respected harness.

For Ref:

C1035A (BJB) (Note C1035A = The Inboard Connector)
Seat Power
Driver's Seat = Pin #54 from fuse #74
Passenger Seat = Pin #55 from fuse #70

So, if wires are present in these cavities, you have power running to (Female-C1147)
If these cavities are empty (on the connector) check if the (BJB) has the contacts for the wires.
Since Ford did some changes to the BJB and if you have the fuses installed it may be possible that the (Termination) point is here - so BJB is fused and pinned but the connector is not.

Sometime in the 2020 production run, Ford eliminated all the (Not-Used) fuses in the BJB and removed all contacts for them (so just empty holes) with you having a 2019 you have the fuses but from the BJB out, I do not know where they terminated the required wiring.

C1035A.jpeg

However as stated above C1147 is buried and hard to see with the dash installed
Seat Power
Drivers Seat = Pin # 23
Passenger Seat = Pin # 29

So, if the C1035A connector is pinned then the (Female) side of this connector is also pinned.
The question is: Is the (Male) side of the connector pinned or does it terminate at the female side?

If the (Male) side is pinned, then the C327 (Dr) & C320 (Pass) seat connectors should be pinned

C1147 Detailed.webp

Ref: C327 Connector (This is Seat Side) for a manual seat as a reference and shows what pins are missing from the (Seat Side)
The unknown is - yet to be confirmed is: The (Female - Truck Side) connector wired for the noted missing (not pinned) in this connector

man-seat-pinout-jpeg.jpg

Starting at Blue Circle - Top Row (Left to Right)

Top Row
Pin #1 - Switch Power - Missing
Pin #2 - Not Used
Pin #3 - Dr. Buckle Switch (You Have)
Pin #4 - LF Seat Track Position Sensor (You Have)
Pin #5 - Not Used
Pin #6 - Not Used
Pin #7 - Grd for Seat Track Position & Buckle Sensor (You Have)
Pin #8 - Grd for Seat Switch & Heater Mat (Missing)

Bottom Row:
Pin #9 - Heater Feed (Missing)
Pin #10 - Heater Feed Return (Missing)
Pin #11 - Heater Sensor (Missing)
Pin #12 - Air Bag (You Have)
Pin #13 - Air Bag (You Have)
Pin #14 - Not Used
Pin #15 - Not Used
Pin #16 - Not Used

Note: Not Used = Not used and is an empty cavity

So, you need the other side of this connector to have the (Missing) wires, this is the one coming out of the floor carpet up to the seat.
If they are missing, then you will have to run you own wiring to Pins 1 & 8 or direct to the seat switch and by-pass this connector (if you are only wanting) seat power

Ref: C327 (Truck Side) connector (Female)

C327.jpeg

So that covers - Seat Power

For the Heated Seats (Function)
You must have the FCIM with the incorporated (Heated Seat Buttons)

Fuse # 65 - Drivers Seat
Fuse # 80 - Passenger Seat

These fuses feed a separate circuit in the FCIM and the FCIM provides a controlled power feed via the buttons and a temperature sensing circuit as well as Can Bus control with Remote Start

In addition to the FCIM with the buttons, we would need to investigate where in the circuit is the wiring terminated, so one could add it back in and continue it out to the C327 & C320 connectors at the seat.
