Hello everyone
I have a 19 xlt 301 A package I was thinking of adding aftermarket heating pads to the seats I have questions if anyone has done this
Is there power supply already in/under the seat and how difficult is it to take the factory cover off and back on
Should I just take to a upholstery shop any input would help thanksgivings

I would be careful adding anything aftermarket that pulls enough juice to heat the seats , get a quality one if you do ... ? ? ?‍? ? ?

I have the same package as you. I looked into it some already. Aftermarket does have some choices so cost savings there for the efforts involved cheap out might be disappointing. As far as I know the seats have occupancy sensors and air bags. So you could pull the covers and DYI but would require some understanding of what you’re getting yourself into. Especially removing the seats to work on. Don’t want to be triggering the airbag. I also looked into using the Lariat controls but the expense wasn’t worth it. Definitely an aftermarket add
