adaptation sensors front ranger 2023

Hello,
I have a Ranger VI, it has rear parking sensors and a camera, I intend to add front sensors. and I can't activate Pam.
I made changes in APIM, on the display it appears for 2 seconds
graphics of front and rear sensors, then the system error. In IPMA errors of 4 front sensors. There is no way to activate PAM. I also have no PDC switch on the console. PDC module N1WT-15T850-BA

You may have different pieces than our US versions.

You are going to need the switch, the switch options to enable and disable the Front Sensors
You will most likely have to run the wiring as the connector may or may not be pre-wired.

You are also going to need to calibrate the Front Sensors

It would be easier to get your As-Built data and then find a like (Trim) with the Front Sensors optioned.
and then do a side by side compare to find (ALL) hex lines that need changed to get the front sensors fully functional as there are a few lines in the following modules that need properly set.

The installation is the same in the purchased bumper with sensors and in the car, even the colors of the cables match. The only thing missing is PAM - how to turn it on?
Without the PDC switch should it create PAM?

PAM is built into the BCM module. Look in BCM settings to enable it. Does your Ranger already have the rear parking sensors in the bumper?

I am thinking you are trying to access the PAM without Forscan or a Scan Tool with J2534 Pass- Through capability.

You need to reprogram (change) the As-Built files to enable the full function of the Front Parking sensors.

Thus, being Can Bus communication between the modules - other modules outside of the PAM needs to be configured as well.
There are a number of files that need set, with Forscan you can access all the modules and view the As-Built files (Loaded-On-Truck)
You can also go online to the ford.services website and input you VIN# and download and view the same data (as it came from the factory)

You can then use this website and do the same - using a (For-Sale) truck and use that VIN#, ensure this truck has the (Front Sensors) installed.

Save both downloads as a (PDF) file - print them out and focus on the (Last 2) Hex Codes of every line. (Highlight) every line that is (Not-Matching) with attention to the modules I noted above.

Then use the cyanlabs -As-Built data base and locate / determine if that difference is related to the Parking Assist system, then re-write all associated hex lines to match the (For-Sale) truck

Yes, the BCM & PAM are a integrated module, but the PAM is a separate module for programming.

The switch is needed to trigger the internal micro controller in the BCM to power the Front Parking sensors (Indication & Aural Warning) Chime

Example:
For US Version trucks (Lariat=4) and (XL=6)
XL is without Front Parking Sensors
I can go through and locate all related Hex lines that you would need to change, but the ROW Rangers differ somewhat, and It would be best if you do the side-by-side match using your VIN#

In this example the US Version Rangers - Do Not have (Flank Guard) the ROW Rangers (MAY) have this feature, I doubt it, but only using this as a example for the rest of the Hex-Lines that need re-written

Most likely your truck is set to (6) and needs changed to (4) for this specific line

You are going to have quite a few to change in the PAM (Module) the above is only (1) of them.

Sorry, this is not a simple plug and play, it requires some programming and the switch to get it working properly.

Now being that I just Googled the Part that you have listed in the (OE) post it shows this as a module not a switch (The US Version) does not have that module. We cannot view or see the ROW Ranger manuals or wiring diagrams, so now I am uncertain what to tell you.

The US Version has what Ranger Bill posted above as the primary controlling associated parts, by using the part number you posted, it appears the ROW Rangers differ as far as parts and I am thinking the PAM is separate of the BCM in your case.
Again this is where YOUR (As-Built) data will tell all

Here is an example of the US Version switch

The (P) is the Front Park Sensor, note 1 connector wired to feed all the switches, if the wiring is actually run to those pins.
