Well after five years i've decided to pack it in. Traded my favourite truck in on a Subaru Crosstrek. Just too many things going wrong, best of luck and if anyone needs a full set of brake rotors still in the sealed box they come in from Amazon i'll sell them to you half price for cash. I paid 300 from amazon. I'm in Niagara Falls Canada if you want to make the drive, send me an email [email protected]. god bless america and keep you safe after todays elections

Seems like a few are trading Rangers for the Crosstrek.

What pushed you over? The Ranger is so good off and onroad.

Totally get it...I'm out soon before something else goes and the Ranger is still worth a few bucks. Probably go with a Honda since I've had so much good luck with them...
I'm so over Honda. Just think there's better options in the market.

Like what?
Someday I may be induced to give up my Ranger and am always open to knowing what better options might be had.

I wouldn't throw Honda out just yet. Annie has owned 4 of them and besides regular maintenance they've all been great cars. I can see myself not needing a truck in the near future and I'll be giving Honda a strong look. My other choice would be a Hyundai because my parents and a few friends have had several and they've been great too.

I can see me considering a Ridgeline someday if only for the sake of a better ride.
Aside from how well the heated seats work, Jeanie really isn't excited at all about the Ranger and often complains about the ride.

Living in the south, I never saw the appeal for heated seats. But then my brother and sister proclaimed that they are great on long trips to alleviate back pain. So, if (when) I get a 6G, I'll get the heated seats.

lol I thought the same when I fist bought my '19 Ranger and they had heated seats. Living in AZ I was thinking these were never going to be used but it turned out I used them almost (6-8 months) year round. Winters do get chilly there and I'd use them after work when my back was sore.

I always felt the seats were pretty comfortable (the "16 Tacoma didn't set the bar all that high in the seat dept. ) but they were nice on some of our longer trips especially after hiking all day. Now, I don't think I would own a vehicle without them.

44* here in Surprise this morning. Been that way all week, so I can use the heated seats and not have to turn on the vehicle heat. Nice driving weather ?
