Tinny sound when you set the fade all the way to the rear

I was playing with the balance and fade settings the other day and noticed that when you set the fade all the way to the rear, there is almost no low-mid range at all. Really only vocals/high range.

When you set it to the front, it is still full range.

I was just wondering if this is normal or if something wasn't wired correctly at the factory.

Try setting the sound setting to surround in the settings menu.

Just gave that a try and while it makes the sound stage “wider”, it’s still lacking lows and mids compared to the front. It might just be how they are tuned lol

You can hear the lows if you get your ear up to them, which makes me think that’s just how Ford tuned it.

The lows should mostly be coming from the subwoofer, if you have the B&O sound system.

Get forscan and remove factory eq. You'll have full sound to all 4 speakers. There is a thread about it.
