Why all the hate on Tyger? I love my rear hitch step/bumper stand off...still holding up well at 90K...for the price, I'd buy it again...

I'm not hating on Tyger. Im hating on the stars logo and name cut outs..lol to me the stars and logo make it look cheap and cheesy. They are well made and I like the construction. Just want a different look.

I laid this stuff down on my garage floor as the code requires a step up from the garage floor to the house. A trip hazzard, so I put 25 ft of this stuff down, 4" wide, and it has been there for 17 years without a problem.

Yep, that 'step' up is to prevent any water from getting into the house in case of a water heater or washer hose busting, also why there is a 2º slope in the garage foundation, can't really see it but it lets water drain away from the living area. We have the same.

I didn't snap a pic, but Harbor Freight has peel-and-stick rubber treads in black diamond plate style that are pre-cut to the perfect width for the Tyger steps. I bought 4 and after trimming them each slightly for length, stuck em on. They are only a few bucks each, look great, and appear to be heavy duty, including the adhesive.

One year later the grip tape is still holding strong not a single issue. Ill update again in a year..lol

OK this has peaked my interest in these. These look solid.. are they? I was eyeing some Go Rhino Dominators body mounted steps/sliders but at half the cost and amazon shipped for what I will be doing with them, mostly trails in Florida i.e. no rocks I am really looking at these and all of the reviews scream yes

Late post 2 years still holding stronger than what ever paint they used.. I'm seeing rust spots where the coating isn't holding well. Sooner or later I'll strip them and use bed liner.

Send them a picture of the rust. I had the same issue on one spot of one side after a couple of years, and they replaced the pair for free.
