What rock sliders do you have? Lets see them!

White Knuckle sliders. They’re awesome and I’m glad I added the top plate option. No more stone chips along the bottom of the doors.

I like this design the best so far. I see the value in having a tread plate to prevent any damage to the door panels. This is looking like it would be a good fit for me thanks for sharing!

Rocky Road Outfitters with kickouts. At 85 lbs a side stout. Was not crazy about drilling 16 holes but the quality of the welding and powder coating is exceptional. Attaching to frame in 4 places instead of 2 or 3 like others.

Lifetime warrantee that they will not bend. Only negative thing I can say is it was almost 6 months to build and recieve them, but worth the wait.

Thats certainly quite the wait but look at that turnout! I think they look great. A buddy of mine has them but also had to drill holes. Not sure thats what I would like to do since I already have holes in my roof from my prinsu rack haha. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, that's a neat paint job. How was the welding process for you? On another note, how do you like the AVS rain deflectors? Are they noisy at all?

Welding was fine, a bit more fitting than I anticipated. You can set what ever angle you want, I think I set mine at 15 degrees and I had to trim / grind the top plates to sit them in flush instead of on top but I guess that’s a preference thing. I finished them with raptor liner. They are holding up well, I have slid over a few rocks with them. I am about to pull them off and touch up the scrapes.

AVS rain guards are great, it rains a lot in Vancouver. I don’t even notice them, I even ran through a few car washes with them no worries. Mainly I like to crack the windows, even when it’s raining.

It is notable to mention I was rear ended fairly hard last year and I honestly think the strength and intragation to the frame by these sliders was a factor in not having more damage.

Sounds perfect to me. I am trying to decide if I want the AVS stick on or the EGR in-channel deflectors. I'm out of Seattle so I always want to crack a window and can't for very long without getting too much water on the sill.

Not that you wanted to see these but I got one of the last set from Shrockworks and love them, I have no issue using them as a step, just turn your foot sideways

Hey thanks for sharing. In truth I should've bought some when I could since I love the look of the dimpled tread plate the most out of all the companies... If I could order some now I would!
