Last weekend they brined the roads in anticipation of snow, freezing rain that never came. Today got all the salt washed off. Heavy rain all day. First vid I had just passed a high water sign, assessed the situation, and proceeded on. Then immediately came across another sign and did turn around.

Second vid, an area I totally wouldn't expect water, probably going a little too fast, although still under speed limit, damn water was hard to see with the haze, then BAM!

Guess that's better than leaving it on. Heard that can force deeper into areas harder to rinse out. Brine that is.
But that's the kinda fun I like.

That was more of a relief gasp that I didn't stall out.
Yea I am sure it was a wake up call for sure. The truck and driver handled it very well.

One thing I miss on my F150 is that 4A I used it alot in bad rain. It helps...

Reminds me of low-water crossings in Texas Hill Country.

Your thread title made me think you were talking about this kind of thing (which I may do this weekend following our last snowstorm and the stinky-ass beet juice crap they treat the roads with!).
