being in the field of electronic design and engineering, I hate it, to make 3 or 4 components across a whole complex system work together, and some internet guy try and add a wire to improve on it LOL
I am also a Ham Radio Operator and if I thought by adding an extra ground I could talk an extra mile, or lower the noise floor, I would spend weeks and high end equipment looking for just the right spot to put it, I would :)
I have not heard of any common problems with these trucks
that said I do have a 5.5 Farad super audio Digital controlled Capacitor ya its way over kill
and I have large noise suppression ferrites cores on a few different wires
not that either do much if anything, both are pretty much for my own head

Funny story, I have had issues with one and only one analog TV channel for years. Tried re-aiming the anttenna, rescanning the channels, a new amp, everything. Then one day I was cleaning up in the basement and found one of the pictured clip-on ferrite beads. A light bulb went off in my head. Clipped it around the coax cable right where it attaches to the TV. Damned if that didn't fix it!
