It's been a very productive day

A few goodies came in today.

OEM Thinkware front and rear dash cam. I also decided to hardwire my Valentine 1 V1 and mounted it on the stem of the rear view mirror instead of the windshield suction mount for a cleaner look. Installed a Proclip cellphone holder as well.

I was also able to install a set of AMP research steps. My wife and daughter doesn't have a hard time getting in and out of the truck anymore. Probably the best investment I did for this truck.

I had a Valentine on my Honda VFR. Best detector you could get, at least at the time. No idea if there is a better one out these days though but it's hard to beat the simple display.

I honestly forgot about it. Been in storage for a long time and to my surprise it still works!

I completely agree. I've had this detector since high school lol! I checked their website to see if there are any software updates and apparently, there's a new version/model out now...

I do remember there were software updates back then but never bothered doing so. I recently checked with them and they aren't even doing updates on the V1 anymore. They want you to trade it in for the new V2 version lol. No thanks. Mine works just fine for being a 20yrs old radar detector.

Here in North Carolina it is. I believe Virginia and Mississippi are the only 2 states that they are illegal.
