I have home Starlink, unlimited. 200-350- Mbs down, but still only 20 up.
They offered me a free mini a few months ago, but I had no use for it.

It would be non-transferable and linked to my account. Plus I would have to return it if I cancelled.

Funny enough, got an email about the price going up $5, so now $55/mo for 100GB.

My home unlimited just went for 120 to 130.

Upcoming Price Adjustment
Starlink is rapidly increasing network capacity, expanding coverage, and improving reliability to deliver faster, more consistent connectivity for our customers.

Pricing has remained unchanged for most Residential customers for the past several years, and strong demand for Starlink reflects the value customers continue to see in the service. This adjustment supports ongoing improvements and investment in affordable, high-performance products and services as global operating costs continue to rise.

Yeah, looks like the email I received as well. I can't complain though, no other service comes close. At my kids school my phone will even show full reception 5G (T-Mobile) and I can BARELY open text emails. It is a business expense for me as well so whatever.

I just have been split on giving it power from the truck or not. The Tremor switch panel kills power when the truck turns off. I already have 3 battery banks for it anyway for when I am off-grid so it isn't like I don't have a way to power it on my drive. I dunno, we'll see. I should put my ditch lights on first lol had the brackets a year now and the lights sitting even longer.

They just doubled the standby to $10 also :(
Ah shoot, didn't see that. Well in the months I have had it, I ended up using it more when they gave me 100GB. Mostly because 5g is so hit n miss in Vegas though

We were supposed to get fiber in our area under Bidens Infrastructure Bill. Kamala was here in 2022 telling how great it's going to be. They ran conduit for fiber about 3 years ago, but still waiting on actual service availability. So, Starlink is the best option. T-Mobile open up home internet thru 5G towers, but good service is hit and miss.
