I did take Steve @IdahoRanger up on his advice to stop at Shoshone Falls in Twin Falls, ID. It was a great stop (thanks for recommending it!) and we took a few nice pictures of the waterfall there and stretched our legs a bit before heading into NV.

Idaho Falls was one of the places we had considered moving to when I retired from the USAF. Ended up in Southern middle TN. Still miss living out west though.

Twin Falls is a beautiful area and I wish we had more time to spend looking around. We've been considering TN for a potential place to move too. One of these days we want to get out there and check out several areas throughout the state. I do like living out west because there's a lot of places to go (within driving distance) and get out of the summer heat here.

I heard Payson and Prescott are also cool in the summer. ?
