Not much in Ely. There is a shortcut to skip an out of the way piece of the 93 using Hwy 6 and 318 then back to the 93. Nice little grade going that way.
Sweet, I'll look it up before leaving tomorrow morning. This place is perfect as I wasn't looking for anything much to do after driving 550 miles today.
I forgot about that bridge. Still lots of snow on those peaks which adds a little viewing to that drive.
There's a lot of peaks around with snow still. Nice sights while driving instead of looking at boring buildings along the highway.

I inputted my 2 gas receipts into my Fuelly app and was even more shocked at the results. Maybe they gave me my 2019 engine because I swear this is not normal. BTW the dash reading said 25.1. This was 100% highway and going between 65-80 for 261 miles.

If I remember right you get Hwy 6 by the gas station as you leave town.

Nice mileage and the 70mph limit on the NV Hwy speeds things along.

The shortcut when you take Hwy 6 from Ely saves about 40 miles.

I was texting with Chris @Chris M while we were stopped getting gas and getting something quick to eat for lunch. I'm ready to leave and Annie's out trying to get this rooster to come out from under the tree so she could get a picture of it. She's such a city girl. lol

It was a nice looking.....?

Let’s see “going 261 miles and 26.1 mpg” suspicious numbers ?.

This fill up above was from when I left La Grande, OR and we were in Glenns Ferry, ID. I filled up again there and made it all the way here to Ely, NV which was 327 miles so I'm curious to see what it reads when I fill up tomorrow morning.

Here's the reading on my Ford app where I still have 135 miles left so that would make it 462 total miles to E.

Remember to smell your oil and exercise the tailgate!!! Your MP1 damper will love for it!!

Just think of your vacation after all of this BS… I’m sure Annie’s (not ) shopping bone is taking a beating during this trip. I smell makeup shopping in June…

No kidding. By the time I get back I'll have put on about 8,000 miles between these two trips. That's about what I normally do in a whole year. lol

? Maybe if I start taking 2 hour road trips for lunch I'll catch up to Sid.

Jim the first day I was trying to fluctuate it from 55-80 as best I could. Even today I did that for another couple hundred miles then once I hit 500 miles I stayed between 70-80. I haven't hand calculated it yet but on my last fill up I still had 1/3 of a tank and it was reading 24.8mpg and when I filled it it said 465 miles to E. There was some pretty good mountain passes leaving OR into ID too so this is way better than I thought for not even broke in yet.
Dave, I just don't get it, Your getting this with the both the leveling kit and the General tires. From going from the stock Hankook's to the Tremor General tires cost me @ 0.7 mpg. That was after taking into account the 3% difference in the speedometer. There must be something wrong with my Ranger but it seems to run fine. Or, maybe I need to switch away from the Costco premium gas. It would be a waste of time to take it to Sanderson Ford and complain about the mpg. They will take one look at the Tremor tires and Eibach leveling kit and blame it on both of those.

I buy Costco gas pretty much exclusively and get pretty good fuel mileage using the 91 octane. I'd be surprised if that's your problem.
Leveling kit and heavier tires/wheels? Maybe that. Or maybe a lot of stop and go driving in your neck of town?
