FWIW I have a 20MY Ranger now, and it's populating that info. Maybe just a bug? This one has v3.4 on the SYNC side, not sure if anything is different otherwise though.

It could be the IPC or SYNC 3 version. I'll ask my buddy at Ford since you say yours is now showing it. I want to confirm that it's showing the Artist and song, right?

My buddy just said that info is SYNC software based. So, let's see if 3.4 will be available soon.

Yep, the info comes from the SYNC side. Not sure when they'll push 3.4 to existing fleet. Probably fall at the earliest is my guess.
