yes, I have seen this once or twice. It typically means the battery may be getting low. An easy cure is to drive the truck more to charge it up. It could also be an early sign the battery is on its way out. When I was working on the truck with the doors open I saw a similar message ahead of the system shutting down after a while of lights being on and screen lit up.

Yep. All the time. Not like thenolder cars. Once it gets below 12 or so volts it says battery low. Modern cars cant run on 10 volts like our old 1980 f250. Modern cars are energy dependent. Need power!! More volts the better.

Yes, I have. In fact this morning after driving for approximately 5 miles, visit the Gym. As I returned to the truck this message appeared, even though everything was turned off. Once I arrived back home I measured the voltage output and the meter confirmed 12.7 Volt. I have also noticed that as of late, when I shut the engine off and later re-start, the radio of turned off. I never turn my radio off! Furthermore the auto engine shut-off when stopping at a stop light, no longer works, even though I just recently drove some 1100 miles. I visited a dealership and they told me to turn off the auto firmware update feature! Outside from that no further info was provided.

After my in depth testing and research
Sleep Mode voltages are key:
If voltage is sensed below 11.3 volts during sleep mode ASS will disable
If voltage drops below 11.5 volts the Sync will drop
So when it sits (parked) it sees 11.5 volts, Sync will drop at start up.
OTA - updates put a drain on the system which will make it more noticeable.
These are all the first signs of battery nearing its end of life.
So - the best test can be done after overnight sit - and check wake up battery voltage - normal Wake Up voltage on the Ranger is around 11.9 to 12.3 volts - as stock and no BMS changes.
Check this voltage before starting truck
