Hey all,
Was doing some investigating with the battery due to auto start/stop not working to ensure there wasn’t a bigger problem going on and came across this loose wire coming off the harness that leads to the BMS on the negative terminal. Any help in identifying it or where it’s meant to go would be much appreciated. Nothing around it looks obvious.

I do know that if you unplug this one the auto start/stop is disabled. You can still press the switch to light it up if you want to though. The best thing is this mod is free!

But this also disables the BMS , Battery management system . This will cause the battery to be charged at 100% rate even when it should not .

I think Benny means the rate at which the battery charges. Batteries should never be constantly charged at a 100% rate. At some point in the process, the rate of charge slows to help preserve battery life expectancy. Also, if your battery is fully charged, why would you continue to overcharge it? This will reduce the life of the battery.
