Adding a generator hook up too?

Ya know, I did talk about it with the electrician but haven't decided yet. We are doing additional work later, like in the spring for adding more plugs and switches in the house.

What are your thoughts on adding a generator panel?

We've been good with power failures in the last few years. But 7 or 8 years ago, we were without power for 3 days! Here in Portsmouth, all the posh people cry a lot with any hardships, so we ride that to our advantage.

But still, no power does suck mighty bad! Let me know what you think.

it'll likely be cost effective to add the gen hook up while they are installing the new panel and will be a cleaner install

also, a decent thing for resale
