It's still blue! Did you take the 4x4 also?
Yep still looks as good as ever.
Sadly no Ranger, not this trip, we slummed it at the Kingfisher resort instead this time.

the more" bent" folding wing of the corsair always looked mean to me. I think my favorite of the ww2 era is the lighting or the mustang. If i was filthy rich instead of dirty broke id get me a mustang replica and a ppl so i could buzz around lol.
Add some love for the Spitfire too!

In my opinion, the Mustang is the prettiest bird.
ive been pretty lucky in terms of being able to enjoy ww2 aircraft. my house is in between several airports and bases. so i can go visit a list of of birds locally including fifi the b29 - in flying condition, chuckie the b17 in flying condition and a long list of smaller bombers and fighters. a few years back we had a b36 on display i thought it was amazing as a kid. sadly it was done away with.

...bit of useless knowledge: The sweep of the wings on the corsair was to get the landing gear closer to the ground to accommodate the over sized prop blades.

I agree with previous post that era was amazing for plane design.

That's cool. For my dad's 75 birthday several years ago, he got a ride in a B 17

Just some little wildlife here in the Philippines. Yes I was close as it appears to the monitor lizard taking it's picture. As my wife from up the beach is saying "hon" "hon" "you should come back".  This was on the island of Palawan.
