For those of you that read some of my posts, you know I traded in a very sweet Jeep Gladiator Rubicon in on the Ranger I have now. I received a lot of money back to help with home issues. The one thing I did not mention that I have posted about now on the Gladiator Forum is the need to use some of that money I received back on the trade to help my rescue dog get specialized knee surgery. Cost is going to be about $5000.00 to fix her knee. So anyway, I thought I would mention it here as well. We love our dogs and Sasha needs to stop limping and enjoy her life. Pic before she hurt her knee. Thanks!

My dogs are just extra kids. Wouldn't trade them for anything. Good luck with Sasha!!

Reducing some money for Ranger mods, but she is family and worth it. May have to put the DeeZee tailgate damper that is slightly used up for auction! That has to be worth a lot of $$$$ at auction! Plus the Damper T shirt that is on back order too. A package deal...LOL!!!

if its any consolation, my 6 y/o golden went thru the same surgery right after Christmas.
cost was the same and its definitely a long recovery but he is back to his old self.
So it will all be good in the end and she will be back in action before you know it.

Thanks Bob. Glad your Golden came through the surgery successfully! They are so loving and forgiving, it is hard not to take good care of them.

Pets are family. My #1 rule is pets don’t suffer and they need quality of life. That is a beautiful pic.

Thanks Joe! We think she is special too. Lab/border collie mix. Soon she will be feeling better. Take care!

Good luck on the recovery. Hope it is expeditiously and pain free. Dogs are the best. Dogs are most certainly family to us all. My honor to my previous dogs, their ashes and a light so they always know where home is.

Bob you might reach out to Purdue university veterinary school, they do specialized treatments at reduced costs, you just have to travel to them. My vet graduated from Purdue, he still has his practice plus started and owns and works full time at the Airport vet clinic, it's an after hours and weekends Vet ER and they do amazing work. I would let Doc Sheff operate on me any day.
