The first record I ever bought was Cathy’s Clown by the Everly Brothers. 45’s were 88¢ at Snyder’s Drugstore; had to plan carefully and be very discerning with a 50¢ a week allowance.

In no particular order, just how they came to mind. Ask me again tomorrow and I’d probably come up with ten more. I like most of the work that each of the artists below have done, not only the ones listed:

Loan Me A Dime- Boz Scaggs
Drag City- Jan & Dean
I get Around- The Beach Boys
Sounds of Silence- Disturbed cover
Light of a Clear Blue Morning- Wailin’ Jennys cover
Lazy- Deep Purple
On the Radio- Donna Summer
The Last Gunfighter Ballad- Guy Clark
Crazy- Patsy Cline
Keep Your Lamps Trimmed And Burning- Hot Tuna cover

I also like classical arrangements and all forms of jazz. My daughters were in both studio and high school dance, so I got more familiar with Techno Rock, Glam Rock and Hip Hop than I really wanted to, but they had tons o' fun. Finally! They grew up... and have daughters who are now in dance. I didn't realize how much I missed it!

I'm going to throw some out there that I'm surprised aren't on anyone's list.
Ten Years After....I'd love to change the world.
B.B King....The thrill is gone
Pink Floyd....Comfortable numb
Peter Frampton.....The complete Frampton comes alive album.
Pink Floyd....Dark side of the moon, from start to finish.
Beatles....Something
Buffalo Springfield....For what it's worth
Kenny Wayne Shepard....Blue on Black
Boston.....Foreplay/Longtime
Styx...Renegade
Don Henley...The Heart of the Matter
Phil Collins....Another Day in Paradise
I love “The Heart of the Matter” by Don Henley. I am a big Eagles fan.

Peter Frampton.....The complete Frampton comes alive album.
Frampton comes alive is my favorite live album. Show me the is my favorite Frampton song. He did a few acoustic versions that are on YouTube I really like.

I heard the story of how he wrote "Show me the way" and "Baby I love your way" in the same day. He was in a resort room in the Caribbean islands thinking of a women he wanted to be with but she was married. Pretty productive day writing those 2 songs. Made a lifetime of money off them.

Someone mentioned the Beach Boys and I had to post this one.

Youtube tried to block it but everytime they did, 10 more people uploaded it so they gave up.

Might be flaming ?here, but anyway..

Why the fuck would anyone limit their music preferences to top-10? Music is not limited to to "Oh.. I like there ten songs" (outside of rural Alabama) but it more like generic "this shit if what I fell like, just, now".

Anyway... My top-10 is fading like a flower.

seems like we could throw a pretty damn good party with the r5g crowd. we all like a lot of the same music. so far i havent seen but a handful of songs i didnt know and enjoy.
for the guitar folks that appreciate classical style check out this lady. the way she can move her fingers makes my mind hurt lol. she plays clean and crisp too, barely ever hear a squeak or fret etc. carlos santanna has that clean crisp hand also.
