Is about the only chain Pizza place (at least here in the south) that is still putting out a quality product. They don't skimp on the quantity of ingredients and the quality of taste. The only place to beat them is a place called ROMAS here in my town, which is a pickup/sit-down pizza place (no deliveries) with the Neapolitan style pizza. Kind of like the old school pizza you use to get in the mall before that SBARRO's crap came around.

I use to love Dominos.... some 20 years ago...

Every once in a while I splurge on Dominos, Pizza Hut, or even Papa Johns to see if things have gotten better. These chains have become absolute crap over the past 20 years and can't compare to Marcos. Lets put it this way, Marcos Pizza is the Chick-Fil-A of the delivery pizza world now.

What in the world happened to these other brands? They all use to be decent back in the day.

I agree dude, the powers-that-be really got the pizza-game all effed up now. Being in a smaller town, half the time our few pizza places aren't even delivering, or close at irregular hours. Guess between the "supply issues" and "worker shortages" all hope is lost. Me thinks the golden era of real food and dining experiences is over for good.

I was already thinking about pizza for tonight. Now, I’m committed. We have a man-bun dude that owns two local Jack’s Pizza shops, one only two miles from the house. Darn good for a small town, and easy cleanup after dinner.

Is that the same brand as Jack's Pizzas sold in grocery stores frozen section? That has been my Tombstone Pizza replacement for YEARS now.

Yep, if we want cheap-ish, we do Marcos pepperoni. Papa John's and Dominos are so bad where we live in Decatur but I typically think dominos is pretty damn good if the store is ran and employed well.

Also have several Felinis up here and a Avelinos which don't deliver if you want something a little higher.

My go to order is pretty much the $11.99 Pepperoni Maginifico pizza from Marcos every time. That and these guys some how are able to give away free cheesy bread with every single order if you fill out the online survey.

I haven't paid for cheesy bread in years.

I agree Marcos is the best chain in our area. I hear good things about Pizza Hut but haven't had it for years. There's several mom an pop places I've had pizza from that are very good but they don't deliver an most almost twice as much as marcos.

Now I'm craving pizza an I'm trying to stick to a keto diet. I've dropped 17 pounds since new years day. 20 more to go!

I’m a pizza eating maniac. I like Papa John’s and Pizza Hut, but I make a pretty mean “healthy”pizza with wheat tortillas as my crust. I try…I try…..

Papa John's used to be good around here. It went to crap after they fired Papa for a "mistake" on a telecom

We have been trying to find a new pizza shop for a few months now. As far as national chains, Marcos is pretty OK. Have Domino's occasionally for fast and cheap. Pizza Hut when the deal is right. We usually go to local chains or independant but the quality has dropped off on several of them recently so trying new ones when we have coupons. If we happen to be at Costco, we'll grab one of thiers but wish they still had deluxe. We usually warm it up in the oven to make it a little more crispy.
As far as delivery, we always go for pickup as it's another chance to drive the pickup. :like:

We have a Marcos here just a few minutes away. Their steak sandwich is good, with plenty of meat to start with. Although I like Penn Station for flavor and the bread, the cost for the same sandwich at Penn Station vs Marcos is more than double. Pizza isn't bad although I've only tried once. If we just get them to sell fresh cut fries I would eat there more often. Their brownies are good also

Are you close to Lakewood? The people I worked with swore by Angelo's in Lakewood but I've never had it.
