There is a thread on here about dif covers. Banks Engineering did a video on what happens when you deviate from the factory cover. Very educational and I definitely learned something that I was never aware of before seeing it.
Just watched those videos on YouTube. While the banks cover is nice, it does not really fit an off-road application. Mainly for semi trucks and towing vehicles imo. I did like the comment that more fluid capacity is worse than OEM fluid amounts.

I read that review as well. Those could be concerns but the ARB quality is outstanding. All my friends and Brothers are serious jeep guys who trail and crawl their rigs. I pay close attention to the brands they use and recommend.
I saw this one too. Only thing I did not like was the review on Stage 3.

I was just thinking the same thing. I traded my Jeep in for the ranger. If the rear end is the same Dana m220, then this cover should fit! This is the route I was gonna go on the Jeep.

Banks doesn’t make one for our axels. Inquiry already went out and got a not in the future for an answer. That might change but for now there isn’t one. Closest to that would be the Ford performance cast cover.

For off-road there is an additional skid plate that can be added. More info for that is on this forum.

Other offered covers out there just might do more harm than good.

Flat mating surfaces and proper hardware installation is key. The factory stamped covers can flex and form to uneven surfaces. The cast, fabricated or CNC’d covers need a perfect mating surface.

According to my Jeep friends, the Ranger uses the same rear end as the JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator which is the Dana 44 AdvanTek
Yes its a M220 rear, front is M190.

Why do the Diff covers look so different and the price difference shouldn't be that far apart. Just looking at the G2, ARB, AFE
