im trading my ranger in early 2023 so i hope the bilsteins show up before i do not need or want them anymore. :frown:

so ive been looking at Eibach that are similar to the bilstein. visually they almost seem to be twins except for branding. anyone know any info if they are made by the same company and then branded for one or the other??

I ordered Bilstein shocks from Stage 3 Motorsports on July 17. I keep checking on status and they keep backing me up another 30 to 60 days. At this point, I'm not sure what I should do. But we are knocking on the door of 5 months. Can anybody else chime in here on their experience.
you have more patience than i ! you are getting near five months... i want mine done by end of jan or i want my money back to get something else.

Ordered front and rear 5100s in Apr. Received the rears within a week, fronts in Sep. It was worth the wait, but frustrating. Purchased from Stage 3.

Did they tell you 4-6 weeks too?
Yes, to begin with...then they said it would be a while...I talked to Bilstein, and they said the same. Now Bilstein says they are not sure when they'll be available...

Well I'll give it the 6 weeks then start thinking about a cancellation, depending on how the truck drives with mis-matched shocks.

Well, since I've waited this long, what's a while longer....I think it'll be worth the wait.....

Put Bilstein 4600 shocks on rear of my STX . These are replacement for factory junk shocks when you do not plan on lift . Same quality as the 5100s and available at Summit Racing $76 each . Really improved and steadied the ride made me happy .

I’ve had Eibachs all the way around on my 19’ FX4 for about a year and a half now. Love the ride improvement. Honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with either brand. Or that you’d be able to tell the difference in ride and handling.

did a short chat with s3m today after seeing that they had plenty of the eibach shocks and struts in stock. They are very similar but not the same and "branded" as i suspected. the s3m rep basically said the valve pressures are different and for different applications. bilstien more off road set up and eibach more ride quality street setup. my hope was if they were the same we could simply request the eibachs that are in stock instead of waiting for the bilstiens. im excited to get the stuff in and have it done....

We cannot speak in regards to S3 by any means. But what we can comment on is that Bilstein is horrendously backed up across the board. Even through multiple suppliers we have spoken to its the same across the board unfortunately. We have been moving eibach kits and fox kits lately and not nearly as many of the Bilstein due to their slow production.

:crying: i looked all over to find them in stock on the net and nothing doing. summit told me to expect at least 6 weeks and more like march to actually have them at my address. i looked at s3m to see if they had anything similar to what i ordered and close in price and basically nothin that route either. im not upset at s3m but i am starting to think i should just send back what i got and get a refund and start over.

storms come and do damage in stages. wonder which stage is next... not like we did not see this one brewing and get warned.
as for the shocks, i feel like we dont have any options further than waiting or asking for refund and living without, since they not coming back anytime soon, anywhere so i guess i have to like the oem junk.
