Made an oopsie but hitch armor worked

Hello all,

Today there was apparently someone right behind me on my butt and was a smaller vehicle. Accidentally reversed into him. Stupid me didn’t wait for reverse camera to turn on and my girlfriend said you’re clear but it’s okay. My fault only! Civil insurance trade and both parties were understanding. The good news out of this bad situation is my tyger hitch armor took all the damage. There’s slight plastic that popped out and scuff marks that can be buffed out. I popped the plastic back in. Here are the photos! Accidents happen but it’s the way we approach the situations. Well learned mistake.

Haha yeah, I was surprised how well it worked and the way they designed it didn’t affect the hitch receiver at the slightest. Yessir Sid, glad to show it to others who own the hitch armor

I’ve seen some rear bumper damages being quoted like 1-3k too! It’s a good quick investment after seeing it work like this.

Yeah wasn’t thinking I’d make a stupid mistake like that being impatient but we live and we learn. Ofc mark, no problem glad we got another on the hitch armor crew. For $130 it’s great bumper protection.
