Much to the displeasure of some of you on here, I’ve decided to go a different direction and buy another brand truck instead of waiting until “possible December” for my ordered Ranger Lariat - I’ve been without a truck since mine was totaled in March so I decided to pull the trigger elsewhere.



But! Good news maybe for some of you - I am an idiot and bought a lot of stuff for my would-be Ranger prior to getting it and am now trying to sell most of it back. I have everything that I’ve gotten listed below for the price that I paid for it - prices are negotiable, just DM me and we’ll figure something out if anyone is interested. I can send pics too if you’d like - most of it is still in the original shipping boxes but i can open and reseal if you’d like to see the actual product.

Steve, just make sure it's an original Dee Zee. I've heard the others are prone to rusting and making your Ranger slow like a Tacoma. Ok the last part might be a little fabricated but the rust part is true.

The only question I have is why did you buy the under seat storage bin? That comes from the factory on all crew cab and super cab trucks(different configuration at best)

Because I read that with the end of the 2021 production line they were starting to delete some minor things from the new builds like engine covers, sound dampening windows and rear storage bins… did I mention before that I was an idiot? Lol

Thanks! Like I said I do still like the Rangers a lot - I just got sick of trying to haul things and do projects around the house while waiting for it to be built using my temporary car, I.e a 99 Honda Accord

At the risk of being chastised by this group - I went with the 22 Frontier Pro-x. It was the only other midsize comparable IMO for the things I’m looking for in a truck. I ended up getting a really good deal on it which brought it down to almost exactly what I was going to pay for my Ranger

Good for Nissan to bring a new truck to market. Their timing has been good. Where the Tacoma and Colorado are just developing their next Gen trucks. The 6G Ranger is stumbling to bring it to market. Ford's struggling to get the current Ranger built. Hey, Ford you pissed off another customer.

I don't blame you one bit! I'm glad you found something that fit your needs and at the end of the day your the only one who needs to be happy with your decision. The way Ford treated us Bronco order holders I will give every brand a close look next time I'm ready to buy. I think the competition is getting much better and forcing everyone to up their game.
