2019 Ford Ranger EcoBoost Twin Turbos Left A Dodge Ram 2500 In The Dust.

My wife said "My Ford Ranger doesn't have any pickup" and the owner of a Dodge Ram 2500 pickup thought the same thing. Needless to say, the Dodge owner was so far behind me that that I needed a pair of binoculars to see him.
Disclaimer: I do not normally drag race but I had to show the kid what Ford stands for - First On Race Day.

Our rangers do not have twin turbos they have what referred to as twin scroll turbos which are not the same thing.

The twin scroll design is also referred to as bi-turbo.

Somebody thinking of a different engine?
People who don't know any better assume because our engine technically has two turbos one half decent sized and one tiny one that it qualifies is twin turbo.

Honestly I'm surprised some doofus has not plastered a twin turbo decal on their ranger. lol

Twin scroll turbos basically work in tandem with each other to even out turbo chop or whatever the hell they call it through the RPM line. Basically the tiny turbo is for low RPMs and the standard turbo is for the peak RPMs.

Twin turbos are literally in most cases two identical turbos just shoving air in for more power at the top end.

In race application v-patterned engines sure. In inline engines and road applications they're usually sequential.
