I've been browsing these forums since I got my '19 Ranger back in December of 2019. I wanted to share some recent and BIG updates that I've done with everyone here. First off, for specifics, I have a '19 XLT 2wd Supercab Ranger with the 302a and chrome package (I hate chrome, but the deal was too good to turn it down). I've taken it off road road quite a bit (with stock tires) around my house since there is so much desert to explore. "Unfortunately" I had to get new tires very soon and I knew I wanted to go bigger. So... Here it is in all it's glory with 285/70/17's. I've done a few other mods which I will note down below. Here ya go!
Mods:
- Ford Ranger Lifts 3" Level Kit
- Pathfinder 285/70/17 Tires (Cheaper tire, but I've used them before with my old F150 and they last surprisingly long)
- Raceline 947b Scout 17x8.5 +18mm offset
- Roush CAI
- Tubrosmart BOV
- Badflag.com flag mount (It's held up great so far but I'm still skeptical on the design)
- Air Dam delete
*Note - I have zero rubbing at full lock in drive. I do, however, have rubbing while in reverse at over 50% lock. I'll need to modify the rear crash bar.
Future Mods:
- Charge pipes
- Exhaust
- Tune
Thanks for checking it out guys! Let me know if you have any questions or advice.
