Same as my owners manual for my 68 AMX, the options book was 10 pages
Let's be realistic, today's thick manuals are due to technology.

Our '31 Ford Model A manual is '54 pages... but it's a plethora of information. Back then you could just about rebuild the entire car from the manual.

Today folks search the manual for how to turn off the alarm that goes off when their tail gate damper needs recharged.

Let's be realistic, today's thick manuals are due to technology.
No, they're due to attorneys, whose sworn duty it is to protect us from others of their kind. The words "litigation" and "lottery" are often confused for one another.

That's part of it, sure. But the overwhelming majority is due to all the bells and whistles.

Just scan through the pdf... 90% of it is technology and features that weren't even available 50 years ago.
