Is Ford Flexible on their Tire Packages

I have not found a dumb ? section on this site.

I would find it more useful to get the 16" Steel rims.

I would upgrade the rims to something more useful for offroad.

The 16" would be useful for snow tires.

I want the FX4 package. Would Ford Swap the Aluminums for Steelies.

I’ve seen aluminum Ranger wheels for as low as $300 for a set of four, you’re better off buying the steel ones after.

If they swapped the Aluminums for the cheaper Steels That would be fine. Just hate selling items I do not need. I guess all I can do is ask at the Dealer. Looking to purchase the Ranger6G

Brian, the only way you can get the steelies from the factory is to order the base XL trim. Like Rich said, you can find the 16" steelies for sale on the member market place here, and I've even seen them on Ebay for a reasonable price.

I was going to order the Black Diamond Bronco with Steels. Utilitarian look. The Ranger has more space and is a better deal. Rangers 6' bed has lots of storage room over the Bronco
