What's up everyone? My name is Conner and im 25 and on my second 5th gen Ranger. I'll get to that in a second but wanted to document the small things I have done to my truck and go over my plans (dreams) and hopefully learn more from you all.
To start, i'll start with my previous vehicle a 2017 Honda Civic Ex Hatchback 1.5turbo. My mom now drives this thing (tuned with no exterior mods but the carbon ducktail but still cool). When I had it, it was fun but I needed something a lot more practical after Brooklyn put the civic through the wringer. So knowing I wanted a truck, I was looking at the taco because they're sick looking but once I sat in it I knew I would end up hating it.
So a buddy of mine owns a Ford dealer and a friend is a salesman there and I had seen the Ranger was coming back, I took a test drive in a 302a Fx4 and fell in love right away. So I ordered a 301a Magnetic Sport. Came delivered with 3 miles on it after they took it to the gas station. I drove it for a few months pretty stock, just some stickers, tinted side markers, yellow fogs, steps and 265/70/17 Wildpeaks.
So I'll try to post the video of why I have a second Ranger but long story short I was leaving a mens league hockey game and in upstate New York, black ice is all over, I hit some and started spinning at 70 or so and rolled into a ditch. Didn't have a single scratch on me but totaled that truck with about 5k miles on it.
Here's the video - had to add it to Youtube since the walk around was a bit long.
Totaled Ranger
So right before Christmas, I finally got a new Ranger, this time I got a 501a Fx4 SuperCrew magnetic.
As of today I have:
Exterior:
Go Rhino "sliders"
Yellow fog lights
Aeroskin deflector
20% tints
Window deflectors
Green line Flag
M16 decal
Black rifle coffee stickers
"RANGER" inlays
FORD emblem overlays
Wheels & Tires:
275/70/17 General Grabbers ATx
Interior:
Weathertech Floormats
Performance:
SCT Bully Dog 91 octane tune
*ON ORDER* - Wildtrak Roof Bars (stick on)
Plans: (dreams and thoughts really)
softopper
some kind of lifted bed platform for storage and sleeping
possible leveling kit
1.5'' wheel spacers
molded slim fender flares
