Tough finding aftermarket running boards

I'm waiting on some from n-Fab but they keep saying another month or so. Dee Zee and Addictive Desert Designs both show running boards for the Ranger. Those have a chrome strip on the outside. Not sure if you would not want to go with all black with a silver truck with black accents. I see they have one without the chrome strip......

I was looking at some similar in shape by Go rhino (which look like the AU ranger boards) - and they said a Ranger-fit won't be available until late spring.

I want to go all black and 5" wide.
Like DHare posted, Dee Zee brackets alone are like $160.

HaHa They are pricey but I think the quality and finish does make up for some of that. OEM option is around $700 last I checked. I am not a fan of the steps that are lower then the running boards which is what makes me like these more then other cheaper options I have seen.

We will have these on our truck by next week!

I found the best price for the Dee Zee Hex Steps on Amazon - DZ66321TB for $351.54 for rail/steps and DZ66328 for mounting bracket for $145.34 but the brackets are out of stock right now. In checking with n-Fab on their new Epyx nerf steps, it turns out they are from somewhere overseas.

But you can buy the same Ford boards with brackets at Ford Parts for $399 but I don't like how low the black set sits.

If you like the oem boards, find someone who was forced to buy them because they came with the truck... and buy them at a discount.
