So true. That is one thing I try to be careful about. Diabetes is a hard disease to live with and I’m doing my best to avoid it. But, I think a little ice cream would be ok.

Well, it's the season for EggNog...there might be some calcium in there and it tastes really really good...especially if Jim B is aroundYeah, I tried almond milk after the first break. I don’t love it, but I don’t love regular milk either. Maybe I’ll give it another try.

I think you're supposed to eat like 8 lbs of asparagus to counteract the sugar...each time ...So true. That is one thing I try to be careful about. Diabetes is a hard disease to live with and I’m doing my best to avoid it. But, I think a little ice cream would be ok.

I was ruined on it when I was a teenager & my friend’s grandmother gave me some with alcohol in it. Literally made me sick. I keep a good supply for my husband though, he loves it!

Me too but everyone in the house knows you ate it afterwards.Well, 8lbs is a lot of asparagus. But, I might just be able to pull it off. I LOVE asparagus!

Plenty of almond milk cocktail recipes out there. You can start the day with it in coffee or cereal and end the day with a white russian or toasted almond.

You could switch it to brussel sprouts, but there's only so much throw-up a person can do...Me too but everyone in the house knows you ate it afterwards.
