How long have these Ranger coil over sets by Icon been out? I wasn't even aware there was anything available. I'm going to have to get on the ball and possibly order these. Does anyone here have any opinions of the Icon set up? I have never had Icon on any of my trucks.
According to this post, its only been available for about 3 hours. I've never had Icon either, but if Fox/BDS doesn't show up to the party it might be a first for me too.

I had icons stage 2 on my 2012 4Runner ran great though when making sharp turns it kind of rubbed hard, also the seals gave out fairly quickly (2 years) on the rear!

Oof! I know BDS was already filming their promo for their kit's release as of this last Friday, so it can't be that far off. Lol, I'll wait for them.

I just placed my order for the ICON Stage 1 kit. Watched some reviews on the Fox vs. ICON 2.5 kits that they have for the F-150. Seems like not much opportunity cost by not going with the FOX, but gain an additional inch or 1.5" over the fox 2.5.

I'll be sure to post once it's in and I can give some insight.

I also ordered the Icon stage one kit today. To be honest I could really use some help with what rims will fit. I REALLY like the set up that's on Icon's Ranger that's on their website (except maybe without the fake bead locks). It states,

"WHEEL & TIRE FITMENT INFO:
  • OEM Wheels & Tires: Yes
  • Aftermarket Wheels: 8.5” Wide, 6” Backspace
  • Aftermarket Tires: 285/70R17
  • Recommended Wheel: ICON Alloys Ford Ranger specific fitments coming soon"
When I look up 17X8.5" with 6X5.5 bolt pattern in Icon and Method wheels, they all (for the most part) show zero offset with 4.5" spacing. As you can see above, Icon states 6 inch backspacing. Will the rims with a 4.5" spacing work? Sorry if this is pretty common knowledge but I am obviously new to the aftermarket rim game. Thanks for any help that is given!

That’s why I chose KMC XD Series. I’m going to try the 17x9 that comes with 5.71 back space. I will soon find out I guess.

Since I bought the extended warranty, I’m possibly going to wait till there’s a ford approved upgraded suspension/lift kit! Hopefully it’s fox like the f150 raptor and Non US ranger raptor! Hoping to not void the warranty. I do like the new OME bp51 suspension too!!!

Well, I found this video on YouTube that does a great job of explaining backspace and offset so now I am pretty much an expert on the subject ;). https://youtu.be/6-S5Qicb31Y
From what I am understanding, If Icon is stating 6" of backspace for their stage 1/2/3 kits, then a wheel with a backspace of 4.5", like the ones on Icon's site and the rims I am looking at on Method's site, should give me even more clearance (more distance between the wheel and the suspension) than a wheel with a 6" backspace. Does this sound right to you guys/gals?

I just got off the phone with Icon Vehicle Dynamics. They stated that the Stage 1/2/3 wont be available for shipping until mid March.
