Suggestions for bin/box/basket in bed for shopping

I use a 2X6 painted black and cut three hand holes. Cut ends at a slight angle to get the best fit. then I use an old trunk organizer divider that I had, I think I got from advance auto parts. It folds up and has two dividers in it. It goes behind the back seat when not in use. I see if I can get some picks when out of work or this week end.

I've been thinking about how to keep thigs from sliding back and forth since I added the bed divider. I wanted something that would allow me flexibility from keeping a cooler in place to propane tanks or car batteries or what ever. So while at the local big box store for a kitchen project, I was browsing around the hardware aisle and it hit me, D-rings. I can use them with straps or bungees and they are fairly flat so don't take up much room. For smaller stuff I can throw one of the various size bins from the garage in there and strap it in. I put them on after I finished the kitchen project of course. Nothing like browsing around the hardware store for inspiration.

A laundry basket attached to the rear tie-down with a rope. I let the tailgate slowly lower, then have the wife pull the rope to retrieve the basket.
OR
A rugged bin with a lid attached to the rear tie-down with a large diameter para-cord. I let the tailgate slam open and pull the cord to retrieve the bin.

either way, no matter where the bin ends up in the bed. I don't have to walk around the truck or get in the bed to get the groceries.

I used swing box for storage, bought the rubber bedmat from stage3 motorsport and the tail gate mat at Ford dealer.

Guys, I just noticed that Ford Accessories has a new product for Rangers that addresses this issue. I'm perfectly happy with my current setup, the "Rough Country" bed mat combined with Home Depot plastic bins held down by FA bed netting, but this is an interesting option....

I bought one of these trunk organizers. It has clip in hooks that I can hook on the tie downs. If I need it out of the way, I just unhook one side and rotate it out of the way.

I use one of these nets and clip each end to the tiedowns. Great for holding the stuff from rolling all around in the plastic grocery bags. And it's small enough that if I need take it out like when I'm filling the bed with stuff for the dump, I can just ball it up and put it under my seat. Plus it's cheap.
