Installed a new set of wheels today that brings my truck one step closer to where I want it to be. A Ranger ST!

I chose a 20" x 9" Helo HE918B wheel with a 30 ET that resembles the wheels on my Focus ST. The truck rides on Continental 265/50r20 tires that will fit snugly once the truck is lowered to a more desirable height. They replace (for the summer) 265/60r18 Continentals. Same specs dimensionally which made it an easy switch.

The ride is a bit more firm which I expected and I still need to dial in the air pressure to get the right combination of grip and drivability.

A bit different, but that's my style.

Interesting to say the least. Next step is to get ahold of Baer Brakes and hook yourself up with 6 piston front a rear calipers for $4,000 an axle!!!

Nah. I have to be somewhat reasonable. I want a Ranger ST, not a Ranger RS ?

Now that might be doable!
Hi Kevin,

I have OEM 21" on my Nautilus! Amazing that they even make tires for these rim sizes...

Yes, but they do. I am in the wheel business and the change in wheel sizes in the past 20 years is amazing. Twenty years ago, I was leary of putting 19" on my Mustang for fears of not being able to find tires. Fortunately, I was wrong!

Hi Kevin,

Yep! Hired into Ford. 13, 14, 15 for Light trucks. My neighbor has a 1965 Chrysler Newport that was his gramma's. Huge boat. 14" rims! and left lugnuts are left handed too!

Thank you. I'll eventually get it completed. I have about 50% of the suspension lowering pieces completed and will be painting the wheel moldings white soon. Doing the easiest stuff first. Time is the biggest obstacle.

Judging by your posts I'd have thought you'd have 14's on your truck. ? ? ? ?
