Just got home from our summer road trip, from SoCal to Boise ID for a few days then over to Jackson WY for a week exploring the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone then home through Bonneville salt flats and Finally Death Valley CA at 122 degs
Truck ran great! Mpg’s were great I thought considering all the idling, 4x4, speed limits at 80 and mountains I went through.

3445 miles
20.1 mpg

Did you see any notable difference after the exhaust only? How about after you had both exhaust and CAI?
Brian
BLUF: The exhaust alone will increase power to a small degree, and improve looks and sound quite a bit. KN drop in filter and exhaust is slightly better (Installed one while waiting for my CAI). Roush CAI with the Ford Performance (Borla) exhaust provides measurable performance gains, I noticed better throttle response and low end torque (Haven’t been driving it like a bat outa hell, so I can’t mention improvements on spirited driving), passing and merging are notably easier. Add the FPP on top and you’ll notice much greater torque and horsepower across the revs, improved throttle response, better shifting; really, this is how the vehicle ought to roll off the showroom floor, IMHO of course.

Hope this helps!

Great pictures and very nice looking truck. What tires and rims do you have and did you lift or level it at all?

Sure does, on my Focus I did the CAI and tune at the same time and added the cat back a few months later. Noticed a huge difference with the tune and CAI and much smaller difference adding the exhaust but the change in sound made me smile.
On my F-150 the biggest noticeable change was with the addition of the CAI as the tune on that didn’t make a huge difference but when I added the Volant CAI that was noticeable.

Moral of the story is: give er a tune and let it breathe.

I finally got the Linex Bed job, not available nearby so wound up going to Lafayette, Louisiana.
We dropped it off at 8:30 and by noon it was done. I recycled the rubber mat I kept from the Tacoma I traded in, it's not an exact fit but close enough.
I wanted to add some tie down points, so found some SS lifting eyebolts with 8mm -1.25 treads on Amazon they screw right into the tapped holes in the bed walls. pictured below. Using them today to secure some jerry cans, going for diesel for the tractor.

Looks good! I recycled my bed mat from my Tacoma too. IIRC I had to trim about 1/2" off the back side for it to fit but side to side was perfect. I was Leary of using it as I had so many problems with my Tacoma I didn't want to curse my Ranger by installing it. lol So far so good it's been flawless since day one! :turkey: I'm stealing Tracy's dancing turkey.:p

Hi Folks,

I retorqued my wheel lug nuts with my new Snap On Torque wrench I just received. This new wrench replaces my old one that broke beyond repair...

Installed another Swing Case on the Port side. Re engineered the bike mount with a 12mm x 100mm thru axel mount for the road bike.
