I put the TFX Pro on my Shield last summer and love them! I can pick up my front sight fast in the bright sunlight. Not that my eyesight is real bad but they're not as good as they use to be so these have helped a lot. They glow nice at night too and I really like the fiber optic front with the orange ring.. I had mine installed by my dealer because I don't have a front sight pusher and didn't want to mar up the slide. He charges $40.00 for the install. Get them you won't be disappointed

You can see how well they light up in total darkness.

It looks even better in person but this will give you an idea in normal lighting.

I like the orange ring around the fiber optic front. It's easy to pick up quickly.

Ok, that's what I'll go with.

Also, I sent the unfired Kahr P380 back to the online dealer. It was a 2014 build with known issues. The newer line extractor chain was improved as well as a longer recoil guide ride and different pressure springs. Also multiple broken strikers before Lakeline came out with theirs.

So the hunt goes on.

I can't believe they were trying to sell you a gun that's been around that long with known issues! They shot;d've at least disclosed this in their ad. Good thing you caught about this before transferring it into your name, once you do you own it. Who was the dealer?

I did transfer it into my name at the FFL. I found out about this after when I checked the S/N.I'm glad I didn't fire it.
The guy was fine with taken it back. I bought my G42 ($399 shipped) off him but checked the S/N first and it's a late 2019 build.
From now on I'll always check the S/N for approx date of build.
Especially when buying online.

You're lucky because usually once you transfer it you own it. Then you have to send it back to the manufacturer for the repairs.

So I've been meaning to rearrange my shelves in my safe and declutter some parts I just throw in the back. I ordered another pistol rack that came in yesterday so I finally got around to doing that this morning. I do have 4 pistol pockets on the door but I'd rather them placed in the rack. I already had a rack that holds 4 pistols but since I've been a little out of control lately I bought another that holds 8. Looks like there's room for 2 more now.

There's always room for more
You're preaching to the choir buddy....lol

They always say buy a bigger safe than you "think" you'll need which I thought I did. lol . I had a smaller cheap one back east which I sold and bought a really nice Champion safe out here. I was a 2 day sale on select in stock inventory and I bought the biggest one I could fit (and afford) into my bed room. I didn't want to have it in the garage or right out in the main family room. This just cleared the door jambs by 1/2" on each side,it's 66"x38"x26". Oh,it weight 1150 lbs dry! Was worth every dime paying for the delivery.

Oh,you'll fill it! lol

The one I had back east was about half that size and it was almost full but I did have ammo in that one. On the top shelf I have a few 5.56 lower receivers for future builds a bunch of spare AR parts,a couple lights, red dots and I keep my stick on splatter targets there because it's way to hot in the garage. All my ammo is in the garage. God help the neighborhood if there's ever a fire,it'll look like the 4th on July! lol I still have room for more rifles and several pistols too.

The door has a lot of usable pockets, key holders and mag holders. I bought one of those fireproof folders off Amazon for all my in important documents, passport and stuff like flash drives. Even though the safe is rated for 90 minutes I wanted to make sure these were double protected. You'll always find more stuff to store in there so it's good to get one a lot larger than you'll need.

Newest pick up, Kimber with a Vortex viper and threaded barrel with my Rugged Obsidian 45 attached.
Nice set up! Did the Kimber come with the threaded barrel or did you add it? The only pistols I have with a threaded barrel are my 22's. The suppressor only weighs 4.3 oz so it's super lightweight. How's that to shoot with the Obsidian 45? The Kimber has some weight to it (41 0z) so I bet it's balanced pretty well with the can.

I have the Obsidian 9 which I finally got the tax stamp a couple weeks ago. Will finally get out this weekend to use it but none of my 9mm pistols are threaded except my PCC's so I'll put it on my CZ Scorpion and my AR PCC 9.

I have one similar, Kimber Aegis Elite Custom in 9mm. It came with a Vortex Venom but the barrels not threaded. Now I'll have to buy one.

Barrel is aftermarket and had to be handfitted.

@SubVet Tom I got the 1911 mags in today from eBay and they are identical to the Kimber mags. We're going out shooting on Sunday so I'll be able to test them out but I tested them in my Kimber and Springfield and all chambered a round with no issues. I say that because I have 4 Mac-Gar 1911 mags that will not feed the first round in either gun. They're 10 round mags and the first round always FTF then they run fine. They work fine if you only load 9 rounds but that's kind of defeating the whole purpose of 10 rounds. lol Mac-Gar has a lifetime warrantee and they're going to replace them for free. As long as these new ones work out on Sunday they are a steal at $83.99 for 5 mags.

The Kimber mag is on the left and they're the same patent number.

Nice safe! I've been looking at them for a year or so. I need it to fit in the office closet though, so size is going to be a little smaller than what I'd probably prefer. Right now I'm using a combination of small safe (3 pistols) in the bedroom and an old gun cabinet my FIL gave me years ago.
