Truck seems to skip 2nd gear

It seems like it hangs in 1st gear too long, and then jumps past 2nd into third. The 2nd light barely blinks during the transition.

Truck will skip 2nd gear in drive mode, it will shift 123 in Sport..

Mine used to skip 2nd gear a lot. As the transmission learned how I drive, after a couple thousand miles, it learned how to shift through the gears without skipping any or jerking or big downshifts. It just takes some time for the computers to learn.

It really just depends on how you drive. i have noticed that if i have a somewhat heavier foot it will skip 3rd instead of 2nd. I am also a weirdo that likes to see what my transmission is doing so i always bring the indicator up.
