Recently got myself a 2023 ranger and I noticed this and was curious on how common this is, and is it worth contacting the dealer to fix it or is the hassle too much for the fix? It doesn't bug me THAT much but I'm more worried if it's going to get worse, especially come winter.

Anyone have any experiences like that with their trucks?

I’ve seen this a few times on some of the SuperCrews on here. Folks report just re-seating it themselves. Tap or push it back in place with something safe like a small block of wood. Use a soft hammer (rubber or plastic) on the wood if you have one.

If it doesn’t stay put, take it in for a warranty claim. They will probably do exactly the same thing and if it pops back out, try a small amount of black RTV Silicone before tapping it back in again.

I had this happen on mine. Didn't think to tap it in with a block of wood, but some Gorilla Glue definitely did the trick.

Same here, both front doors, not bad just a slight bow, as if the piece was a pinch long.

Both my Rangers have this and just pushing it back is only a temporary fix as it pops right back out. The passenger side on both seemed to be the worst.

My truck has this problem as well.... And everytime I look at it, it makes me nuts. I wish there was a fix that worked.

Cheers everyone for the replies. Going to chat with the rep who sold me the truck and see what she can do for me, and when I can get it fixed up.

If it happens again after the fact. I'll take the other advice and do it myself. Will update once I get that all settled.
