Has anyone installed window nets or grates in their rear windows. I want to put something so my dogs can sleep in the cab with the windows down while we are camping. Ideally it would be attached to the door so I could open it and get to back easily but mount to the cab would work as well.

I am looking at these race car nets and trying to figure something out with them. Just wondering if anyone has done something similar and had any tips.

I used to have such a thing for my Freightliner. Perhaps one from a truckstop could be modified to fit your truck.
Worked really well for me at the time...

Don't have a guide as such, but it's a walk in the park. Few screws and torx screws and they pop right off. Once you do one, the rest take about 3 mins each.

Youtube has a few clips, search "changing mirrors PX3 Ranger", there's a couple good ones.

Back's basically same as front.

What kind of dogs? Names and photos please.
A border collie mix (Breeze) and a chihuahua terrier mix (Zoey). They are seniors and don't hike as much as they used to but they still love to come out and get some shorter hikes in.

So this is what I got so far. Just laced the race net all around with paracord and tied it to the door handle and a bungie (could tie it too) on the last loose corner. Not pretty but I think it will hold well. Takes about 5 minutes to put up and 1 to take down.
