see photos:

my bed has three holes i want to plug with rubber firewall plugs. one is a 15-16mm round which is easy to find plugs for.

one is a square hole (see photo, has a zip tie in it currently) in rear left bed near top.

four are small oval holes in the front of the bed on both sides. see second photo.

i can’t seem to find something ready made on amazon and wondering if it has a different name i should search for. or whether oversized round plugs will deform to fit the oval holes?

I think this thread may have more information on what you're looking for:
https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/in-search-of-bed-box-plugs.7056/

Seems like something you might have to contact the dealership for.
thanks for the link. my search didnt turn that up.

anyways, from that thread it makes it sound like no one is aware of premade plugs to fit the square hole nor the small oval holes. the large oval holes they mention the dealer supplies plugs for is not an issue for me- we have all those plugs as they came with the truck.

maybe i need to buy a selection of round ones and try to shove them in. it sounds like one previous poster did that successfully, although he may have been talking about the larger ones i dont have a need for.

I work at a John Deere dealership and have access to a large selection of various plugs. JD has an excellent spec chart of what's available. If you provide me the dimensions of the holes I might be able to come up with something and get you some part numbers.

You could check the Ford dealer. These came in my new truck.

I figured the round and square ones out. Round measures .600 and JD has a plastic push pin style that measures .610 The part number is L207229. The square is 1.55 X 1.0. JD has a rubber plug measuring 1.469 X .946 # is GX21147 I couldn't find one for the oval but I'm confident the others will work. You may have put some clear silicone on them to hold them in. Hope this helps. I noticed you're in SD. Our company is RDO Equipment & we have 5 stores there. See if the can get them for you.

Deere just has the best parts system, they have had for decades. I always wonder when I see random part numbers like this, where they would have shown up originally. The GX number was something on a garden tractor; the L number came out of Germany.

thanks! i just logged on to post my measurements and didnt see until now you are way ahead of me.

ill check this out.

fwiw: if this came up for anyone in the future, my hand-measured (no caliper) metric measurements are:

15.5mm round holes: one each at the top rear of the side walls, two at the top of the front bulkhead.

small oval holes (not the large ones that come plugged from the factory), two each on each side of the top of the front of the sidewalls: 22.5 x 16mm

large rectangular hole, top of the rear left side wall. (the one that one manufacturer makes a 12v adapter for): 39.5 x 25mm

thanks everyone.

update!

if anyone is curious about how to plug the big rear left rectangular hole:

the oval OEM plugs mentioned above actually fit it perfectly.
