On my old 94 S-10 ZR2 I used moulded rubber wheel bump protectors that with a rubber bed mat, plastic tailgate liner and a modified rubber tailgate liner for the bulkhead provided all the bed protection needed under a topper. I cannot remember where I got the moulded rubber bump protection, does anything exist today? I remember they were cheap from a place like JC Whitney and they were custom fit.
