Wheel spacers and towing

Has anyone onstage wheel spacers thats does a lot of towing? Did the extra width provide any additional stabilization when towing longer trailers?

Double edged sword there. You are moving the hub centric load off the hub and transferring it to the lugs. Even a hub centric spacer still adds an extra load to those studs. Plus your wheel bearings are designed with the center of the tire in the oem spot. Spacers can increase load on the bearings.

it’s not doom and gloom saying its horrible ect. Just stating the facts of what it does. Money is better spent on load stabilizing devices like sway bars, load levelers, air bags, or a WD hitch.
